Details: Scope of Work: Raw Data Acquisition for Canal Mapping Using Drones

Project Location: Banda, Uttar Pradesh
Canal Length: 45 kilometers

Description:
We invite proposals from experienced vendors for aerial data capturing of a 45 km long canal in Banda, Uttar Pradesh. The selected vendor will be responsible for deploying drones equipped with high-resolution cameras and GPS systems to capture raw imagery of the entire canal stretch. Establishing Ground Control Points (GCPs) with accurate coordinates along the canal alignment will also be part of the vendor’s responsibility to ensure high-quality data for future processing.

Key Requirements:

Conduct drone-based aerial surveys covering the full 45 km canal length.

Establish and mark precise Ground Control Points (GCPs) throughout the canal corridor.

Capture high-resolution raw images with sufficient overlap for photogrammetric processing (to be performed by the client or their appointed agency).

Provide raw, unprocessed image datasets and corresponding GCP coordinate details.

Adhere to all applicable DGCA regulations for UAV operations.

Deliver all raw data in a structured digital format on an external hard drive or as specified by the client.

Important Note:
Vendors are not required to perform data processing, orthomosaic generation, or map creation. The scope is strictly limited to raw data acquisition and GCP establishment.

Eligibility Criteria:

Vendors must have prior experience in drone-based raw data capture for linear infrastructure projects.

Valid DGCA drone operator certification is mandatory.

Demonstrated expertise in accurate GCP placement and raw data delivery.

Interested vendors are requested to submit detailed technical and financial proposals, including their survey methodology, equipment specifications, timeline, and relevant past project experience.

Terms & Conditions: Compliance: The vendor must comply with all applicable DGCA guidelines and relevant government regulations for drone operations.

Accuracy: The vendor shall ensure proper placement and measurement of Ground Control Points (GCPs) with a positional accuracy better than 5 cm.

Data Delivery: All raw images and GCP coordinate data must be submitted to the client within 7 days of completing the fieldwork.

Project Portal Updates: The vendor must update the project status on the Agniforge Project Portal regularly and submit their payment invoice through the same portal upon data delivery.

Payment Terms: Payment will be released within 7 days of successful data delivery, project status update, and invoice submission on the Agniforge Project Portal.

Data Ownership: All captured data, including raw images and GCP information, will be the exclusive property of the client. The vendor shall not share or reuse this data for any other purpose.

Safety & Permissions: The vendor is responsible for securing all necessary permissions and ensuring the safety of personnel, equipment, and third parties during drone operations.

Liability: The vendor will be liable for any damages caused by negligence or non-compliance with regulations during the execution of the work.

Eligibility Criteria: To qualify for this project, vendors must meet the following requirements:

Experience:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience conducting drone-based aerial surveys for linear infrastructure projects (e.g., canals, roads, pipelines, or railways).

Proven track record of successful completion of at least two similar projects involving raw data capture and GCP placement.

Certifications & Licenses:

Valid DGCA (Directorate General of Civil Aviation) Remote Pilot License or authorization for commercial drone operations in India.

Company registration and GSTIN.

Technical Capability:

Ownership or guaranteed access to drones equipped with high-resolution cameras and GPS-enabled systems suitable for accurate survey data capture.

Availability of RTK/PPK-enabled drone systems or demonstrated methodology for achieving ?5 cm GCP accuracy.

Personnel:

Team must include certified drone pilots with demonstrated competence in aerial surveying.

Personnel experienced in establishing and measuring GCPs with high precision.

Legal & Regulatory Compliance:

No pending litigation or blacklisting by any government department or organization.

Compliance with all applicable central and state drone operation regulations.

Financial Stability:

Ability to mobilize necessary resources for the timely execution of the project without advance payment.

Portal Access:

Ability to access and use the Agniforge Project Portal for project updates and invoice submissions.
